
INTERVAL SESSION'S
Weekly interval sessions for all abilities.
Here at Social Striders we believe that interval sessions are the best way to mix up your weekly training, help to improve your personal bests and make you a stronger runner. Intervals help you train your body to perform during times of fatigue and oxygen deficit. If you are running to lose weight, intervals burn more calories than slow running and will help boost your metabolism.
It's easy to think that if you run the same speed and distance everyday you will improve but the truth is you'll plateau and stay the same. Intervals are a great way to test your limits and improve your overall fitness and speed.
Interval session's are £3 per session.
All evening session lasting approx. 1 hour.
Session includes a 10 minute guided warm up and cool down.
Sessions will be a mixture of whistle runs, fartlek, hills and track styled training. All suitable for newly graduated couch to 5K runners and beyond.
You set your own pace!.
* Unfortunately only age 18+ for the interval sessions.

What you'll need to bring with you;
- Water bottle
- Appropriate running shoe's
- Lightweight running clothes (weather appropriate)
